THIS IS YOUR LIFE

A public exhibition responding to the use of photographs to aid Alzheimer's disease and Dementia. The exhibition contains two family albums (which I created), a suitcase of photographs, alongside hanging photographs. Holding on to a part of yourself with the use of photographs has proven to be a helpful aid. This installation responds to how family, friends and carers use childhood family photographs around a home environment so their loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia can hold their identity for as long as possible.
