THE RISE OF FEMINISM AND PHOTOGRAPHY BETWEEN 1960 AND 1980 (2018)
This essay focuses on the influence art and photography had on feminism between 1960 and 1980. Artists Ana Mendieta and Hanna Wilke use their self-representing influence to cause societal and economic revolution that in retrospect, informed contemporary debate in politics and changed the ideology of gender.
